Danbury, CT (September 21, 2005) Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. (NYSE: ETH) (Ethan Allen or the Company) today announced that Ethan Allen Global, Inc., its wholly-owned subsidiary, has launched a $200.0 million offering of ten-year senior notes. The offering is expected to be completed this month. The senior notes will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by Ethan Allen and certain of its subsidiaries. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering to expand its retail network, invest in its manufacturing and logistics operations, and for other general corporate purposes.
The senior notes have not been, and will not be, registered under the Securities Act of 1933 (the Securities Act), as amended, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent such registration or an applicable exemption from the registration requirements of the Securities Act.
